Hey, I’m Matt Rutter, a photographer, digital artist, and user-generated content (UGC) creator based in Cleveland, OH (and sometimes Memphis, TN). My style can be described as chiaroscruo [kee-ahr-uh-skyoor-oh], an Italian term which literally means 'light-dark.' It's the use of strong contrasts between light and dark, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition. Drawn to the storytelling potential of photography, I blend natural scenes with imaginative elements to evoke emotions and spark conversations.
